What is ProxMaq?

ProxMaq is an Indian non-proﬁt company registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013, we at ProxMaq are working on a mission to build AI-powered devices and services at an affordable cost for the people with disabilities. Such devices and services will exponentially improve their functional capabilities, independent living, and enable them to protect themselves.

About ProxVision

Our ProxVision smart glasses are designed to provide a life-changing experience for individuals who are visually impaired. Equipped with state-of-the-art computer vision technology, our glasses use artificial intelligence algorithms to recognize objects, currency, and even text, and convey this information to the wearer through an audio feedback system. This allows them to navigate their surroundings with greater ease and independence. Our goal with ProxVision glasses is to empower individuals who are visually impaired and help them lead more fulfilling lives. With our smart glasses, we aim to bridge the gap between the sighted and the visually impaired, allowing everyone to participate fully in the world around them

Ch.M.V.Mahesh - Founder & CEO

I hail from Andhra Pradesh, India, and my life took an unexpected turn when I had to discontinue my Computer Science degree due to a cervical spine injury. The experience opened my eyes to the challenges faced by disabled individuals and the need for a more inclusive society. I realized that technology has the power to transform the lives of billions of people and decided to embark on a mission to make that happen.

With this goal in mind, I founded ProxMaq Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to building an inclusive society where people with disabilities can push their physical and social boundaries and participate fully in the rapid advancement of mankind. At ProxMaq, we believe that everyone deserves equal opportunities and access to technology, and we are committed to making that a reality. Join us in our mission to create a world where no one is left behind.
